OK, so newspapers may not be around...

...by the time he's old enough to write (or shoot photos) for one, but at least the kid shows some interest in that which currently keeps his parents employed.

Or maybe he hates my reporting and thinks Daddy's pictures suck. Who knows what sort of criticisms drift through that agile mind as he peruses our day's work? (ha.)

I got a J-school degree but never worked for a paper besides freelancing....

WB is a newspaper reader, too. She likes the foreign affairs section; she's especially interested int he Middle East.

My little one is showing similar inclinations. I just hope she decides to head the staffer route and not the crazymaking freelance route.

He probably thinks you are both wonderful now. Wait until he is a teenager. THEN, he will hate your reporting and think Daddy's pictures suck. Then, YOU will know why some animals eat their young...
